Wedding Venue: Old City Social Philadelphia
Wedding Vibe: summer, small and intimate
Color Palette: blush pink, white and navy blue
Located right on Market St. in Old City, Philadelphia, Old City Social is the perfect venue for small and intimate weddings. Sherrita and David were looking for a location that was just the right size for their closest family and friends and they found it! This Old City Social Micro wedding in Philadelphia was a day filled with love and family.
Sherrita and David started off their day with an small wedding ceremony located in the wide open room of Old City Social. With their close family nearby, they exchanged vows in front of a beautiful floral archway. This floral archway also provided the perfect backdrop for the bride and groom’s photos.
I loved seeing the looks of joy and happiness all over their family’s faces!
The picturesque archway was filled with gorgeous blush pink and white flowers and provided the perfect pop from the wooden walls. The accents of blush pink could be seen all throughout the wedding day. From the bride’s bouquet to the family’s dresses and the pink petal coasters of the glasses.
Old City Social is one of the most versatile event spaces in Philadelphia. It was an easy way to transition from the ceremony right into their wedding reception. If you are looking for a unique location for your upcoming micro-wedding, this is also a great affordable option. Sherrita and David were able to move from their ceremony to a sweet champagne toast with their loved ones. And what better backdrop than a light-up “LOVE” sign!
A truly unique feature at Old City Social is the light-up LOVE sign. As many Philadelphians know the love sign is a classic Philly landmark in Center City. This sign is an eye-catching piece and a great backdrop for the bride and groom’s wedding cake and couple’s photos. The sign and the archway provided picture-perfect places for the happy couple and were provided by Old City Social!
You can certainly tell that love was in the air between these two!
Outdoor wedding photos were a must for this dreamy summer wedding. After spending some time surrounded by their loved ones, the bride and groom took to the city streets for some gorgeous wedding day photos. The stone and brick of Old City always provide a great setting for a couple’s wedding day photos.
What a wonderful way to cap off their wedding day by being together as an officially married couple in a city like Philadelphia!
