Morris House Hotel is a historic boutique hotel right in center city Philadelphia. This unique location is perfect for an intimate celebration or micro wedding. Built in the 1700s, the carefully preserved landmark is a charming venue for a wedding. There is a hidden courtyard tucked away and perfect for a small celebration. A clear-topped tent will keep your guests dry in case of inclement weather. There are also 17 guest rooms available that friends and family can stay in as well as a wedding suite for the couple.

Bridal Flower Crown

I love the bride and groom’s look for their wedding day. The bride chose a white dress just above the ankle to show off her cool hightops and a colorful flower crown that was playful, beautiful, and fun. The groom’s attire was a stylish blue suit with a sunflower boutonniere and sneakers. He decided to forgo a tie for a bit more of a relaxed look. Their outfits were just perfect for their laid-back day!

Wedding Day Couples Portraits Near Washington Square Park

After taking some photos in front of the Morris House Hotel, we strolled down toward Washington Square Park and stopped along the way to get some fun old city photos with the pretty red brick before heading back so the couple could greet their guests who were arriving.
