Wedding Venue: Morris Arboretum of The University of Pennsylvania
Wedding Vibe: fairy-tale, spring, outdoors
Color Palette: emerald green, white and pink
Morris Arboretum provides an exquisite outdoor space for your upcoming nuptials. The combination of trees and lush flowers set a perfect backdrop for the bride and groom looking for a nature-filled day.
There are many options to consider when determining where to get ready for your big day. This bride and groom chose to get ready where they felt most comfortable, their home! Their home provided lots of natural light which led the way for beautiful bridal portraits. I loved Lauren’s fashionable white high-top sneakers under her wedding dress.
Another perk to getting ready at their home, this couple was able to include their dog on their wedding day. Although their dog was not at the ceremony and reception, the bride and groom shared some time with their dog at their home while getting ready. Their pup even had a cute pink tutu and floral necklace to add to the glamour of the day.
And check out this groom’s special pin in his suit jacket!
I absolutely love the gardens at Morris Arboretum! Whether you are looking for the natural appeal of the trees and lush greenery or the lovely brightness of the delightful flowers, there are so many beautiful locations within the gardens. We were lucky enough to find some colorful blooming trees throughout the gardens to add some flare and color to these elegant springtime wedding portraits.
If you are looking for a fun and unique place to host your cocktail hour, the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia has a great location to check off that box! Out on a limb is a walkway 50 feet above the ground that provides a birds-eye view of the forest below and allows guests to embrace nature’s beauty while sipping cocktails and enjoying the company of friends and family.
This nature lovers’ wedding embraced the outdoors throughout the ceremony and reception. Wild Stems is a local company offering unique designs for weddings and events and specializing in fantastical installations. For the reception, the bride and groom opted for fun hanging greenery and a disco ball to create the feeling of the perfect spring party.
To finish off a wonderful wedding day, the bride changed dresses during the reception to prepare to dance the night away. Complete with a light-up tiara and sparkly ankle boots, it was time to party and celebrate officially being married. Why not have two fantastic looks!
I loved working with Mist & Moss videography on this wedding day. Click to see the wedding film they created.
