Small Race St Pier Wedding, Philadelphia PA

Getting Ready at The DoubleTree Philadelphia

This Race St Wedding started off in center city. Mayra and Fortino got ready at the DoubleTree Hotel right on Broad Street. After slipping into her wedding gown, Mayra grabbed her amazing bridal bouquet by Bonnie’s Wonder Gardens and took a few portraits in the beautiful window light of the hotel room. We even were able to go up to the roof to grab a quick photo, then headed across the street for her first look with Fortino.

First Look on Broad St

You could feel all the excitement, nervousness, anticipation and love as Mayra and Fortino saw each other on their wedding day. What a sweet moment!

Philadelphia City Hall Wedding Photos

Broad Street is a wonderful place for photos with Philadelphia City Hall in the background. We took a few photos right in the middle of the street, then explored the stunning archways of historic City Hall.

Race Street Pier Wedding Ceremony

Did you know that you can get married at Race Street Pier? It’s a great location right on the water with views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge Stretching overhead. Friends and family gathered for Mayra & Fortino’s intimate Philadelphia wedding ceremony.

Of course, we took advantage of the impressive views and were able to grab a few more photos of the bride & groom overlooking the water. After photos, they headed across town for their reception at Clarkville Pizza in West Philly. I mean I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with delicious Pizza!
