“We chose Wissahickon Park as our engagement location because we love outdoor activity and this is one of our favorite locations to hike. You cannot beat the picturesque locations the Wissahickon has to offer!  We are having a fall wedding so this location offered some of the best fall foliage for pictures. The water, trails, and bridges all added a great background to our pictures.”
 I could agree more, this is defiantly a Philadelphia engagement session for nature lovers and the Wissahickon is a very well-loved green space by so many who live in the Philadelphia area!

How They Met

“Mark and I went to high school together. Our high school was small so we knew each other but never talked to one another. Fast forward 8 years, we were hanging out with mutual friends at a local bar and just hit it off. We started dating a month later. It is your cliche bar story lol.”

How He Proposed

 “Mark and I were dating for 2 and a half years when he proposed. My birthday is October 4th, and to celebrate, Mark invited our immediate families over for dinner and cake on October 5th. When I came home from work we ate dinner and began opening presents. Mark asked me to go outside for my gift from him. He had me close my eyes when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him in front of our families. That is the only thing I ever wanted, was for my loved ones to be there for this special day! I was completely surprised. I had no idea it was coming!”

Wedding Planning

 

“Our wedding planning is going great! We have so many things done so far. We will be getting married at the Seaview Dolce Hotel in Galloway New Jersey on November 9, 2019. Mark and I have stayed organized and have enjoyed every opportunity to plan our special day. The best part of our planning is asking our friends and family to be in our wedding party.”
