“Our families are a bit scattered so we’re having a reception back home near Cleveland and wanted the actual wedding to be small and intimate. Saving money was our main objective for the venue, I know, super romantic of us! The West Chester courthouse is really nice though, we were happily surprised. The whole experience was great – it was intimate, zero stress, quick, and our judge was super sweet! Our day was super low-budget, but it was a lot more fun and stress-free than a lot of big weddings we’ve been to! My advice to other couples is, Don’t wait until the last minute. Find the judge you want, and schedule your date/time at least 2 months in advance for the best options. We did things a little backwards – we got married with the wedding bands, and are just now looking at engagement rings! My grandmother gave me some gorgeous diamonds from a ring of hers, and we’re going to incorporate them into a new design for my ring.”
