This Philadelphia elopement was so sweet. Vita and Adam chose to have a City Hall wedding in Philadelphia, just the two of them. I really loved Vita’s wedding day look! Her shimmery plum dress from Adrianna Papell and adorable Dansko Leyla wedge boots were the perfect outfit for her day. Adam matched Vita’s look with just as much cool and class. The two of them together were stylish and delightful.
After their courthouse ceremony we lingered in the dramatic staircase and look some portraits. I love the natural light pouring in and the amazing lines of the stairs and windows.
Next we ventured outside into the beautiful fall day and walked few blocks down for a classic Broad Street photo with City Hall standing grand and tall in the background. On our way back up the street we paused for a few photos on the steps of the Union league Building and again at Dilworth Plaza . They were just setting up the ice skating, which will be so much fun for winter!
We strolled over to take a few photos of the bride and groom in front of Robert Indiana’s “Amor” sculpture, located at Sister Cities Park, 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. It is a great location for newlyweds and we even caught a bit of fall color in the trees behind them. Next, we made our way over to Logan Square for one last stop. Vita and Adam sat by the art deco Swann Memorial Fountain (or Fountain of the Three Rivers) and we captured a few final images before they headed of for a romantic dinner in the city to celebrate.
