Kirsten & Tommy had a magical Inn at Leola Village Wedding! It reminded me why winter weddings are cozy, romantic and full of holiday cheer! They had their ceremony and reception at the enchanting Inn at Leola Village. It is a wonderful all-inclusive venue that takes the stress out of planning. Their venue boasts an elegant indoor ceremony space and beautiful outside areas for photos.
“The Inn at Leola Village was the 3rd of 4th venue we went to visit. During the tour of the grounds and the main venue I fell in love. I knew that I didn’t want to get married anywhere else. My hesitation was it was out of my price range. When we booked the visit I didn’t realize it was not within our initial budget (mother-in-law found it and did not tell us the price before visiting). On the way home Tommy and I talked and both decided we would make it work since we loved it so much.”
I adore the elegant white Christmas lights on the trees and the candlelit stone fireplace backdrop for their formal portraits. We were able to go into the wine room for more photos and even did a few outside.
Their reception room was stunning! It was aglow with candles and Christmas lights, setting a soft and welcoming mood for the festivities. I love the pine cones used on the card table. The bride and groom’s first dance had a little extra magic when they “danced on the clouds”.
The wedding was a delight from start to finish! This The Inn at Leola Village Wedding will be held in the hearts of all who attended for years to come.
“After Christmas of 2016 Tommy started acting very strange. He would make secretive phone calls in the early morning and had a hard time looking me in the eye. Just a few days later on New Years Eve everything made sense. Tommy’s original plan of a helicopter ride over our favorite places couldn’t happen due to wind (hence the strange phone calls). Instead he gathered family to Naylor Vineyards for a wine tour. After several samples of wine, Tommy came from the back with a single red rose and a glass of Mascato with a beautiful ring tied to the stem. In Kalista fashion he did not get down on one knee, but instead simply said, “Kirsten, I love you, will you marry me?”
