This beautiful wedding at The Joseph Ambler Inn was such a lovely celebration! The property is spacious and beautiful with a sprawling lawn and wonderful outdoor patio space. Liz and Clifford celebrated their ceremony and reception at the inn. Their friends and family bubbled over with love as they witnessed the union of this beautiful couple.
I asked Liz a bit about her day and here is what she shared:
First of all, it’s beautiful!! So romantic, charming, and the perfect amount of quirkiness. Everyone who works there is extremely nice and helpful (shout out to Alli!). We also loved it because it is a one stop shop. We are having our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception there and out of town guests only have a few steps to take to get to their rooms at the end of the night. I would recommend it to anyone!
My mom and I designed the save the date/invitations from start to finish. She does graphic design work on the side of her teaching job (used to full time) so it was very special and fun to work with her and learn from her.
The earrings I will be wearing are my great grandmothers diamonds in their original setting from the 1920’s, given to my mom by my grandmother. My mom and I decided to turn them into earrings, and again, designed them together and had them made, which I will wear as my old and borrowed.
Keep focused on the single most important part of a wedding – getting married!! It’s too easy to get swept up in all the details of planning but at the end of the day, the only part that matters is the commitment you’re making to the love of your life.
We met in high school math class in 11th grade. He was new to our school and we quickly became friends and then best friends, doing our homework together, or just hanging out every day after school, on weekends, whenever. We started dating at the end of 11th grade and have been together and in love ever since. It’s been such a blessing to grow up together and we look forward to continue growing and loving each other for the rest of our lives.
