Choosing a wedding venue for your big day can feel overwhelming. Jennifer and Matt chose Saucon Valley Country Club for its beautiful campus and tons of outdoor recreational activities. They were inspired by the landscape and knew it would be perfect for wedding photos. They were able to get ready for the wedding day right at the venue and the ceremony and reception were also right on-site allowing them to really enjoy their venue and have a seamless flow to their day.
Jennifer and Matt decided to see each other before their ceremony and do all their formal photos, including family, wedding party, and the couples, right upfront. This way after the ceremony, they were free to eat, drink and be merry with their guests at cocktail hour.
For their couples photos, we were able to hop on golf carts and zoom around to all the beautiful spots at Saucon Valley Country Club. It was helpful and fun to have this extra help because the outside space is expansive! I loved this practical and fun perk.
The couple shared how they met and how he proposed! “We met through mutual friends. We got engaged at the club the night before the Kentucky Derby, hence the original Derby Themed Wedding. While we are going away from that, our guests will still be treated to some Derby surprises.”
Their outside ceremony was set up right on the property on the lush lawn in front of a stream. It was intimate and delightful!
After being pronounced husband and wife the couple walked down the aisle to the crowd’s cheers and lots of bubbles. Bubbles are one of my favorite ways for friends and family to send off the newlyweds after their ceremony. They are beautiful, fun and don’t leave a mess!
Their reception was hosted in this beautiful ballroom where friends and family were able to gather and celebrate the newlyweds. The historic details of the room give it an elegance that is perfect for a wedding celebration!
At each place setting guests found custom M&M’s with the bride and groom’s initials and wedding date as well as a Kentucky Derby Glass. I always appreciate a favor you can eat 😉
I love this dessert table and so did all the guests! Frosted Chaos did an amazing job with this lovely wedding cake. Mixing cake and cupcakes is always a good idea!
There are so many parts of a wedding day that are moving and speeches by friends and family are definitely one of them. It is so important and touching to bear witness to the love shared in these moments.
