Sarah and Jim had a flawless wedding day. They both got ready at their parents houses and then heading to St. Mary Magdalen Church for their ceremony where they saw each other for the first time when Sarah walked down the isle with her father. They gathered with friends and family at White Manor Country Club. They toasted, celebrated and danced the night away with the awesome band The Heartbeats. It was surely a night to remember!
Jim, How did you and Sarah Meet?
Sarah and I met Freshman year of high school in Algebra 2 class. I was late for my first class because I went to my 3rd period classroom during 2nd period. We later found out that we first crossed paths in 8th grade when our soccer teams played each other. We used each other for schoolwork and competed on grades until Sarah decided to become a doctor and I had enough. After that point, we had to find new ways to make our relationship make sense. And we did because we loved each other and now we’re getting married.
Sarah, How did Jim purpose?
Jim and I planned a weekend trip to Alexandria, Virginia in late April. We had limited time to use Jim’s Marriott points and we had visited Alexandria prior and loved the charm of the area. On the ride down Jim and I discussed places we could stop at that was on our way. Jim listed some options that he had looked up, and asked me to choose a location. I chose the National Arboretum outside of D.C. Little did I know Jim had a proposal scenario for each of the locations he mentioned. At the end of our visit to the National Arboretum, Jim and I were walking in a lovely green field in the direction of the parking lots. Like usual, I was walking very quickly, a few steps ahead of Jim. Jim asked me to stop for a second near a bench under a beautiful tree. I turned around and he looked so nervous and sweet. He then began his rehearsed speech, which I cannot remember a word of (sorry Jim). I of course said yes and we enjoyed a lovely dinner that evening listening to live jazz music at a local restaurant.
