This RiverCrest Golf Club wedding day flowed beautifully and seemed to hit every note, from the lovely ceremony on the patio to the emotional toasts and letting loose on the dance floor. It is safe to say a good time was had by all.

When I asked the bride how they decided on RiverCrest Golf Club as their venue, here is how she replied:

“We decided on RiverCrest because it offers all-inclusive amenities, a beautiful ballroom and bridal suite, coordinated assistance, and quality food. We loved the location because it is local to us and most of our friends and family.”

This venue sure seemed to check all her boxes with the convenience of location, extensive venue offerings ,and beautiful spaces both inside and out.

“The intended vibe of our wedding day was classic, beautiful and relaxed. Our color palette included teal and purples. The most important thing to us was to stay organized and focused on our love and reasons for getting married and not getting hung up on the small stuff.”

Bride Getting Ready

The bridal suite at RiverCrest Golf Club is spacious and well-decorated. The mirrors and counters are perfect for getting your makeup done and there is natural light flowing in from the windows. There was even an area for food, snacks and champagne and a pretty rack to hang the wedding dress. It’s a treat to be in a space that caters to all the needs of a bride while preparing for their their day. Getting ready right at the venue adds ease to your day. The less moving around from location to location the more time you can enjoy the moment.

Bride and Groom First Look at RiverCrest Golf Club

The bride and groom decided to have their first look at the venue and see each other before they walked down the aisle, this way they could get all their formal photos done before their ceremony and it created a smooth flow to their wedding day. They saw each other for the first time under the shade of the big beautiful tree in front of the RiverCrest Golf Club with their wedding party looking on to support them in this special moment. The joy on their faces when they saw each other for the first time all dressed in their wedding attire was incredible.

Their couple’s photos were so much fun and we were able to find lots of shady places for wedding photos on the hot sunny day. I love that their ceremony space was a covered patio offering an escape from the bright sun (or rain). The stone wall and greenery are picturesque and turned out to be a wonderful and quiet location for photos of the bride and groom before the guests arrived. As a wedding photographer, it is nice to work at a venue that offers a variety of pretty locations for photos.

Wedding Party photos

The wedding party of this bride and groom included friends and family and they posed for photos before the ceremony outside the golf club. It is so special having this precious time together to shower the couple with love and make memories before they walk down the aisle and into the next chapter of their life together.

Wedding Ceremony at RiverCrest

The heart of a wedding is the ceremony where the couple share a sacred commitment to each other and it was so special to have family officiate for them. Another especially important moment for the couple was including a sand unity ceremony in front of their guests. They read their own vows to each other and they could not have looked more overjoyed as they walked down the aisle together after the ceremony, officially husband and wife!

Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour followed their ceremony and it was just as it should be, full of “his” and “hers” signature drinks, abundant food, and plenty of time for guests to see each other again or in some cases meet for the first time. The two families got to spend time together while enjoying refreshments. Another thoughtful touch was how they included photos from our parents’ weddings in the cocktail area. These carefully displayed photos were admired by guests and they seemed to bring the love of their wedding day full circle.

RiverCrest Golf Club Reception Room

Next was reception time, let the party begin! After the ceremony is over there is typically a big sigh and all of the nerves melt away – you did it! The reception is the time to bask in the glow of the wedding day. The ballroom at RiverCrest is roomy and elegant. With plenty of space for a dancefloor and for guests to float around the room and visit and catch up. The bride and groom had a sketch artist offering fun favors to guests during this part of the evening. The cake was another highlight, what a pretty creation from The Master’s Baker. I just love the detail of the design and their fun cake topper.

Just before it was time for the photography to conclude, I invited the couple to pop outside for a fun nighttime photo. They were up for it so we headed out to sneak away from the party for just a few munites and captured these cool end-of-night wedding photos.
