Kristina and Al had a truly amazing Ballroom at The Ben Wedding! From getting ready until the end of the night these two were glowing!

 

Getting Ready

 

Kristina got ready at her parent’s hours. There is something so touching about getting ready in a family home.

 

Ceremony at Christ Our Light Catholic Church  – Cherry Hill, NJ

It was a beautiful church ceremony and then off to Philadelphia for formal photos and reception!

 

 

Wedding Party Photos in Philadelphia

Philadelphia Museum of Art

Kristina and Al decided to get a trolly for their wedding party after the ceremony and made a few stops at some of the best places for wedding photos in Philadelphia. The first stop was the Philadelphia Museum of Art where they climbed the Rocky Steps and got some classic city skyline views.

 

 

Broad Street Philadelphia Photo

Next was Broad Street for a quick stop for just the two of them. This is an iconic Philadelphia photo location with City Hall in the background.

 

 

 

Race Street Pier Wedding Photos

The last stop was Race Street Pier for more wedding party and couples photos with the sweeping Benjamin Frankin Bridge in the background. Race Street offers beautiful Delaware waterfront views and is a popular location for wedding photos.

 

 

Ballroom at The Ben Wedding

They chose a favorite Philadelphia venue for the reception, Ballroom at the Ben!

They wanted a venue right in the heart of Philly and fell in love with the luxury ballroom atmosphere with the high balcony for cocktail hour. Kristina made her own table numbers, adding her own touch to the decor. They had a Philadelphia “Love” theme for the wedding day – check out their stylish menu cards! To incorporate an Italian tradition they had sugared almonds at each of the guest’s place settings, a reminder that life is both sweet and bitter. Another highlight was Kristina’s special choreographed daddy/daughter dance!

 

 

Their Love Story!

Kristina shared a little bit about how these two met:

They met through our cousins as kids.  Al went to the same high school as Kristina’s cousin Joey.  After college, Kristina was at a baby shower with Al’s cousin, Nicole.  (Nicole and Kristina went to Drexel together.) Nicole asked Kristina if she knew Al and talked highly of him.  Then, shortly after at a family party, Nicole mentioned Kristina to Al. Al was over the dating scene and told Nicole to give Kristina his number and see what happens.  Kristina reached out to Al and they talked for 4 hours the first night!
