Olde Homestead Golf Club winter Engagement Session

Olde Homestead Golf Club

New Tripoli, PA

Stephanie and Nick will be getting married at Olde Homestead Golf Club in November of this year. They decided to do their engagement session at their wedding venue and I have to say I think it was a great idea! This golf club has a wonderful rustic vibe. It is full of rolling hills, lovely landscape and historic structures. Everywhere you turn is just beautiful! We even were able to hop in a golf cart and buzz around to all the sweet spots on the property.

Is winter a good time for my engagement session?

This engagement session is sure to prove that winter can be a wonderful time of year for your engagement photos! Their session was on a bit of an overcast and breezy day. There was a chill in the air, but this couple came equipped with their flannel shirts and cozy sweater and together explored the property.

These Views!

I love the far-reaching landscape views. The classic wooden fences,  pretty skies and stark trees create a lovely winter scape.

Golf Course Engagement Photos

On the golf course itself there are cool scenic bridges, little patches of woods and a historic one-room house! We were able to access some of The Olde Homestead Golf Club’s tucked away places.

3 tips for a winter engagement session

1. It may seem obvious, but I think it still needs to be said, wear warm clothes. Being comfortable is key to getting good photos.

2. Be flexible. Weather is unpredictable so being a little flexible can be helpful. I always say check the weather the night before to make the final call.

3. Bring along something warm to sip. Warming up from the inside can do wonders! Another helpful hint to put pocket or toe warmers to keep your hands and feet cozy.

I am looking forward to being back here at The Olde Homestead Golf Club later this year for their wedding day!
