Anne & Matt decided on to have their engagement photos in surrounded by nature along the Forbidden Drive in Philly. This is a favorite trail for runners, walkers and cyclist in the Philadelphia area. I love when couples pick locations that are meaningful to them and this was the perfect spot for these two who love to be outdoors. It was so peaceful in the the woods and under the leafy green canopy of spring!
We went someplace I had never been to, the historic Thomas Mill Covered Bridge. Have you been? It is the only covered bridge that still stands in the Wissahickon today. I have done many engagement session in gorgeous Wissahickon Valley Park, but had never been to this sweet spot! It proved to be such a fun location for engagement photos! You do have about a 10 minute walk to get there from the parking lot, but its a flat easy path and very pretty all along the way – defiantly worth it!
We headed down to the water’s edge where we came across this old stone wall and it seemed like the perfect place to sit! Being along The Wissahickon River was so soothing and beautiful. There were even picnic tables and fire-pits along the water and I thought to myself, this would be a great place to come back for a fire and picnic!
I can’t wait for Anne & Matt’s wedding this fall at and their reception at Le Peg in Philadelphia.
Are you thinking about an engagement session in the Philadelphia area and looking for a location on the woods? The Wissahickon is surely on of the best locations for engagement session if you want to be surrounded by trees, water and nature!
How I loved seeing your photo album in its entirety from engagement through to your wedding day! How good it is to see you both so relaxed and comfortable with each other. You are both so photogenic! What a wonderful way to remember this special time. I wish you every happiness as you continue this journey of life together. Love, love, love!
They are truly a beautiful couple inside and out! It was a joy to be a part of their day!
