Outside Ceremony &  Cocktail Space

The outside space is so peaceful. It creates a wonderful garden party feel and there are multiple locations that can be used for your ceremony at Portico. You can select which space works best for your day. Often the cocktail hour is hosted in the Cope house with guests mingling through the house, on the lovely wrap-around porch, and spilling out onto the lawns, creating a seamless flow for the party.

Outside Tented Reception Space

Portico has a tented reception space ready for your post-ceremony meal. There are endless ways you can decorate the space.

Wedding Timeline

Portico offers a modest getting ready space for the Bride and Groom. It’s not fancy, but it sure is convenient! It can be so helpful to get ready, have the ceremony and reception all at the same location. One thing to note about the venue is their end time. Out of respect for the neighbors, their receptions end at 10 pm Saturdays and 9pms Friday and Sundays. From here, some couples arrange an after-party at another location, others call it a night.
