Valley Green Inn 

Have you ever been to the Valley Green Inn? This Inn is actually also a wedding venue and restaurant. Although it is located in Philadelphia, it feels so far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. You can go on a lovely walk along the Forbidden Drive and then have brunch at this cozy trailside location. For weddings, you can get married right by the peaceful creek and it is of course a lovely spot to come to for engagement photos. If you love nature, this Philadelphia park should be on your list of places to keep top of mind for couples’ photos. Within a short walk from the charming Valley Green Inn, there is a lovely stone bridge, a broad gravel path, and plenty of trails in the woods if you are up for a bit more adventure!

Philadelphia Park Engagement Session

There are many green spaces in Philadelphia, but none quite like this. The Wissahickon Valley Park, which is the Park where Valley Green Inn is located , is quite expansive. It is full of beautiful trees and fresh air. There are many entrances to the park but this is one of my favorites. The Valley Green Inn itself offers a pretty backdrop for photos as well as all of the lush and inviting nature that surrounds it.

Fun Engagement Session Outfit

I love the green flowery sundress and sneakers as an outfit choice for their engagement photos. It fit her personality with its playfulness and was perfect for a park location. These two are a pretty adventurous couple so sneakers made it easier to climb down by the rocky paths and go off the beaten path a bit more.

Down By the Water

This couples decided to go down the bank and get right next to the water. It is a spot that not all couples are up for checking out because it involves scrambling down a bit of a sharp incline, but these two embraced the challenge and it made for pretty photos climbing, sitting and playing on the rocks. Would you climb down to the water at the Wissahickon Valley Park on your engagement session?

Wissahickon Valley Park Engagement Session

With lovely weather, a great park location, and adventurous spirits we had such a good time at The Wissahickon Valley Park taking photos. There were lots of laughs, piggyback rides, and sweet kisses. The weather was beautiful and the spirits were high.
