This proposal in Old City Philadelphia was a huge success! Despite the rain showers, this was such a truly heartwarming and sweet proposal. This couple ducked under the welcome cover of Headhouse Square to pop the question and between tears and smiles she said “yes!” What a perfect moment. Next, it was off to take some couple’s photos together.
Once the rain let up for a bit we were about to get out from under cover to grab some photos of the newly engaged couple down a nearby sidestreet that had lush greenery and a cute cobblestone street. We wandered the neighborhood stopping along the way to capture this couple’s love and the charm of the Old City neighborhood. We came across beautiful pink blossoms and colorful doorways. You never know what you might find in the quaint streets of this Philadelphia neighborhood. We did have to pull out the umbrella one more to keep dry, but we were pretty lucky as the sun did eventually come out to shine.
Old City Philadelphia is full of history and impressive architecture. We ended their photo session at the historic Merchant Exchange Building which is always a great location for photos.
Once we got to the Merchant exchange building, the couple opened up a bottle of Champagne to celebrate this amazing moment. Their celebration definitely deserved a toast and they were prepared! Together they opened up the bottle and filled their cups to celebrate their love and the lifetime they will spend together.
