Is Proposal Photography Worth it?
Getting down on one knee to ask your partner if they will spend the rest of their life with you is a huge and unforgettable life moment and definitely worth photographing. The question takes just a moment, but the impact is life-changing! Having photos from this right of passage to reflect on and look back at together and share with friends and family is worth it!
I definitely have a soft spot for proposal photography and here in Philadelphia there are so many interesting and iconic places to pop the question. From your backyard to rooftops, from to the Art Museum steps to the banks of the Delaware River.
How Does Proposal Photography Session Work?
You might be wondering how does a photography proposal session work? The first step would be to sent me an inquiry here. Be sure to include the date you have in mind and the timing and location you are thinking about. I will reply and if I am available for your date, we will arrange to hop on an inquiry call where I can answer any questions and share packages and pricing. From there we will plan out the details of exactly how and where the proposal will be. I love hearing about your ideas and I am always happy to offer any suggestions from my experience.
How is Proposal Photography Session structured?
Typically the photo session is one hour. Although the question itself only takes a few minutes, after the two of you have basked in the excitement and joy of the moment we do some couples photos to commemorate this unforgettable occasion. Sometimes couples will choose to invite some friends or family to be a part of the surprise and doing a few family photos can be very special too! I have seen couples ask friends to meet them with their dogs for a few photos or bring a bottle of champagne for celebratory cheers!
