Cairnwood Estate Wedding – Bryn Athyn, PA

Christina and Dan’s Cairnwood Estate wedding was elegant and full of their personal touches. One of my favorite things about weddings is seeing couples express who they are, sprinkling in sweet and sentimental touches and sharing them with their friends and family gathered to celebrate.

Getting Ready

Christina and Dan both got ready at Cairnwood. It’s a lovely location for stepping into your dress and photos before the ceremony. It is always nice when you are able to get ready right at your venue and really enjoy the picturesque views before the wedding begins.

Wedding ceremony at St Thomas of Villanova Church

Their wedding ceremony was at St Thomas of Villanova Church. This was important to them,  as they are Villanova grads. The church is grand and beautiful and a truly spectacular place to exchange your vows. After their ceremony they took a few photos of their bridal party on Villanova Campus before headed back to Cairnwood estate. How nice to be able to incorporate your alma mater into your day!

 

 

Couples photos

Cairnwood beautiful inside and out. The grounds have lovely gardens, pretty views  and of course the impressive estate. We enjoyed a strolling around the venue for couples photos before cocktail hour.

 

Cairnwood Estate Wedding reception

Cairnwoid is a favorite for weddings! It is elegant, romantic and welcoming. Both the Indoor and outdoor spaces are delightful. Christina and Dan love to dance and had a impressive choreographed first dance. They were than surprised by a flash mob by their wedding  party during their reception. It was Definitely a lively and fun filled party. They dined on the sunny outside patio. After dinner, they cut their Star Wars themed wedding cake and danced the night away!
