This Brantwyn Estate wedding was truly an elegant celebration. The historic location is nestled in the Brandywine Valley in Wilmington, Delaware. What a treat to be surrounded by acres of lush gardens and green landscapes!

Getting Ready at the Estate

Ashley & Dan both got ready at the estate. They also had their ceremony and reception there and I can see why! Their venue has plenty of beautiful rooms for getting ready and amazing locations for cocktail and dining. They truly got to enjoy the venue and their day!

Inside Ceremony

The weather was on and off rain and they opted to have the ceremony inside to be safe. Its always a tough call to make on your wedding day! The estate is so lovely that if you have your ceremony inside or outside it is beautiful either way.

Couples and Wedding Party Photos

Luckily the rain held off during couples photos long enough for us to sneak outside and take some beautiful portraits in the formal gardens! There are picturesque backdrops around every corner and the flowers where in full bloom.

 

Brantwyn Estate Wedding Reception

Their reception was delightful and the couple was announced in at the end of cocktail hour for their first dance, parent dances and toasts. After their sit-down dinner, it quickly turned into a party full of dancing and good times. When I asked Ashley about their honeymoon plans, she said that she didn’t yet know where they were going. Dan had booked the whole trip and it was a surprise! She wouldn’t find out until she got to the airport. How awesome is that!? Would you be up for a surprise honeymoon?
