This Philadelphia City Hall Wedding Ceremony was intimate at beautiful. Chloe and Max gathered both their families to celebrate their union. Chloe wore a classy, lacy Nicole Miller dress prefect for the intimate affair and her hair and Makeup where done at Northern Liberties dnA Salon. She carried a beautiful and unique wedding bouquet.
The talented Elise Hanks of Egan Arranged was the women behind the bouquet. The floral arrangement was a pleasing mix of florals, greens and event fresh mint! The greens, whites and brown gave the bouquet an earthy and alive essence. This is really no surprise when you know that Elise is also the creator Terra Luna Herbals and a dear friend of the bride.
Their wedding ceremony was in the Mayor’s Reception Room – what an elegant venue for the couple to exchange their vows! City Hall is such a huge building and there are so many interesting and historical spaces. We also popped into Conversation Hall for a few photos and then we were allowed out on the balcony too. Although I have photographed weddings at Philadelphia City Hall before, I had never been in either of these rooms. Its always fun to explore new beautiful spaces. In fact, this wedding inspired me to take a full tour of City Hall which I am headed to this week!
Of course we took photos in the majestic stairways, which offer dramatic light and a grand feel. I don’t tire of this location for photos!
No matter how big or small a wedding is, the core of it remains the same. The true meaning and the love are just as evident in giant ballroom or at a Philadelphia City Hall elopement. It was a sweet coming together in an iconic Philadelphia location. After the ceremony, the families headed of to Jansen Restaurant in Mount Airy to eat, drink and celebrate!
