It features lovely vineyards and outdoor and indoor seating where you can be seated amongst the grape vines. This couple was seated at the edge of the vineyard for an evening glass of wine on a warm summer day. After ordering their drinks, they went for a little stroll down the scenic row of grape vines. Can you get more romantic than that? Then, surrounded by the beauty of the winery, he got down on one knee, professed his love, and sweetly asked for her hand in marriage. It really was such a treat to witness this vineyard engagement.

Although there was full sun, there were still plenty of beautiful places to capture the couple enjoying their first moments of being engaged.

On this occasion I was there to photograph this enchanting proposal, but Auburn Road also hosts weddings right at the vineyard. They have two separate options that can be used for private events. The Garden House which feels like a greenhouse or rustic barn and would be so pretty as the backdrop for a wedding. There is also their wine bar that is available for events. A vineyard proposal brings together nature, romance, and lends itself to special occasions like getting engaged. Auburn Road Winery and Vineyard such the perfect NJ location for a summer evening photo session after he popped the question. The winery staff was super helpful during the planning process, and they were able to seat me at a table close by with a delicious blueberry mocktail, so I kept a close eye on the couple and watch for them to get up and go on their stroll down the aisle, which I knew was the queue that he was about to ask her her hand in marriage.
