I love this location for a small micro wedding in downtown Philadelphia in the middle of this public park. You can have friends and family cheering you on and you have a full 30 minutes in front of the sculpture for your ceremony and photos. It’s the perfect amount of time for a quick ceremony and to grab a few photos.
After the moving ceremony, we took couples of photos of the bride and groom. I loved their matching pink outfits. The area in front of the sculpture was roped off just for the newlyweds and we got sweet photos with their post-wedding glow.
We crossed the street and took more photos with the backdrop of the city buildings of Philadelphia. The area around City Hall is full of interesting places for photos. We didn’t want to go too far and we didn’t have to.
As a Philadelphia wedding photographer, it is always fun to photograph small wedding ceremonies. Weekday weddings are welcome and a refreshing way to get married.
