Family Photo Session / Bartram’s Garden Philadelphia

Fall is the perfect time for family photos! We met at Batram’s Gardans for a lovely morning of unseasonably warm weather. Bartram’s Gardens is such a gem and full of beautiful places to photograph. I have known this wonderful family for a while and it’s so amazing to watch kids grow up before your eyes! They haven’t taken family photos in years and they were so happy to finally do it. Time does fly by in a blink. A dear friend told me recently that sometimes photos aren’t taken for right now, but taken for later. That has really stuck with me. Photos are sometimes for us to look back an and say “remember when”. To bring back the wonderful warm feelings at just a glance, to become a symbol of sorts, to bring us to our “happy place”. Family photos can sure do that. They can become such a treasure.
